Alarm Messaging

This apps is a multithread application running in the background of the smartphone.



I. Button setup

This is the basic operation to get hand on the application. This apps can be used without additional hardware or IP devices. Buttons can be programmed to do exactly the same action as a Motion dectection of a camera will do. There is no limit to the number of button only place on your screen. Each button is individually setup to react when it is depressed (Normally Open and Red ) or pressed (Normally Closed and green). The video show all the details.


II. Automatic Voice and Text Call

Voice call and text message can be automatically sent with any kind of event (sound dectection, input state change, output state change, motion video,...). We will show how to set it up with a button. Since version 18 the alarmMDevice application comes with two buttons preinstalled. These button can be removed or modified. By default a messaging profil of type "CALL" or "SMS" will trigger a manually voice or text call. To automatically call or text a Media with a contact should be associated with the event.

An automatic Call or SMS has a quarantine time. Each profil media has it's own quarantine delay. During this quarantine no more voice call or text message can be sent. The default quarantine delay is globally setup in the Generic menu and the value range from 0 to 120 minutes.


III. Schedule an Alarm

Each messaging profile action such as Logging,Vibrate,RingTone, SnapShot, LiveView, Email, Sms or Call can be synchronized with a calendar event. They are found kinds of schedule:

Once the schedule event has been created and associated to an IO, they can be directly modifier in the calendar application of the smartephone.


IV. Integration exemple

Alarm Messaging is an Android Apps which is a part of the "Alarm Central for Smartphone". Every event from the connected hardware can be associated with a specific action. The most common action are to send an SMS, an Email, take a picture... It can integrates with any kind of IP device. What has been done below could be easily done with any kind of IP device.
